EMAIL FROM ANONYMOUS in GA: Couldn't help but wonder how dysfunctional u might be :-)
MY RESPONSE: Lol. :-) You're quite insightful. I'm extremely screwed up - did you see the picture of my mother? Now, picture that woman married to an ultra-conservative Republican. Can you imagine the turmoil that existed in my childhood?
NOTE: picture of Mom can be found under "Happy Mother's Day" blog entry

Hey It's Tiffany :-)
Hey It's Tiffany :-)
I don't think Molly is dysfunctional, I just feel that the emotional trauma that life in general has given her makes her "appear" as dysfunctional. I personally believe that if out of 100 people at least 60 percent should describe you as 'dysfunctional' or another fun synonym to be technically normal in my book.
True story - My aunt sought the help of a psychiatrist to determine why my cousin was so rebellious.
The psychiatrist said, "I think your daughter's problem stems from the fact that she comes from a dysfunctional family."
My aunt's response? "Well, who didn't?"

It wasn't until I was in my mid to late twenties that our dysfunctionality(is that even a word?) was brought to my attention. When I asked my husband, brother-in-law, and dad when it was that we became dysfunctional...they all just looked at me dumbfounded and asked where the hell had I been.
I think you are a very funny person. Your family is very blessed to have you in their life. Good luck in finding your BBF
