A US Airways flight experienced a bird strike after take-off today causing the pilot to crash-land the plane into the Hudson River. The captain reportedly announced, "Look, we're going down. Brace for impact."
The Understatement-of-the-Day Award goes to passenger Fred Berretta who said,
"It was a great landing."
